Australia’s Bathurst 12 Hour race is locked in for February 2022.
The Bathurst 12 Hour race for 2022 has been confirmed to return in February.
The internationally recognised 12-hour endurance race around Mount Panorama will be held February 25-27, three weeks later than the traditional early February slot but also three weeks before the provisional weekend announced by SRO Motorsport Group in October.
It is a continuation of a February race for the Bathurst 12 Hour which has attracted crowds of almost 50,000 and is expected to make a triumphant return after a tense period of COVID-related lockdowns for events all over Australia. Last year, the Bathurst 12 Hour was one of the final international events held in Australia prior to the onset of the Coronavirus pandemic.
However, racegoers for next year’s event will be able to purchase tickets soon, with tickets for next February’s race on sale in coming weeks along with information for 2020 holders of trackside, grandstand and campsite bookings.
Those unlucky to be in Australia to watch will be able to stream in, with the Bathurst 12 Hour televised previously on local TV network Channel Seven, Fox Sports, and through the event’s international stream. For more information visit Bathurst 12 Hour.
