Bentley rolls out comfort-oriented Azure badge across all of the brand’s current models, including bespoke exterior and interior touches.

A new equipment level prioritising “comfort and wellbeing” has been revealed for every model in the current Bentley line-up, covering both regular and Extended Wheelbase versions of the Bentayga SUV, the Flying Spur limo, plus the Continental GT and Convertible.

Called Azure, Bentley says that the new models come with a curated selection of optional equipment and features, majoring on interior comfort, plus some added assistance features for the driver. Along these lines, the Azure badge serves as an alternative to the high-performance Speed models.

All Bentley Azure models come equipped with the marque’s Front Seat Comfort Specification package as standard, providing 22-way electrical adjustment, plus seat heating and ventilation. The seats also feature a massage function with six different modes to select, along with adjustable side bolsters, electrically adjustable seatbelts and comfort headrests.

Driver assistance features include Bentley’s Touring Specification pack. This combines equipment such as adaptive cruise control with lane assist, traffic assist and Bentley Safeguard – a system of onboard cameras and radars used to constantly monitor the road ahead and the car’s surroundings, so that the vehicle’s active safety features can react automatically to unseen hazards. The driver also benefits from the fitment of a head-up display.

Trim tweaks include ‘wellness quilting’ patterns on the diamond quilted leather upholstery, available in 15 hide colours. Buyers will be able to specify any wood trim they like, but Azure models are offered with three additional open-pore finishes, including Dark Walnut, Crown-Cut Walnut and Koa wood.

Azure emblazoned tread plates are found upon opening the doors, while further Azure exterior badging is joined by unique 22-inch wheels, chrome lower bumper grilles, and Bentley’s ‘jewel’ filler cap. The Flying Spur Azure comes with a glass panoramic sunroof as standard, while the Continental GT Azure comes with a fixed glass panoramic roof.

Bentley Dynamic Ride active anti-roll suspension is also included as standard on the new models, but no mechanical changes have been announced. As such, Azure specification will likely be offered across all drivetrain variants within each of the brand’s models. The Azure line-up will go on sale later in 2022 although Australian details are yet to be confirmed.
