Renault Captur Rive Gauche is a limited edition special with glossy black styling and upgraded tech.

A new special Renault Captur Rive Gauche edition has been revealed with only limited numbers made available. Unveiled for Europe thus far, Renault Australia is yet to confirm the model.

Inspired by the River Seine southbank in Paris, Rive Gauche translates as “left bank”, and key features of the range-topping model include black gloss accents throughout the exterior. The grille, front and rear skid plates and Captur badging all have a black gloss finish and 18-inch diamond cut wheels add to the new look.

The roof and wing mirrors come in black to contrast with metallic paint options in a choice of oyster grey, arctic white, diamond black or flame red. C-shaped LED headlights remain but with automatic high beam.

The black gloss theme continues inside with a dark roof lining and black synthetic leather and cloth seats. The Rive Gauche gets wireless phone charging and a 9.3-inch portrait Easy Link touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, accompanied by a digital driving display instead of an analogue gauge cluster.
