Remaining stock for the MY23 Jeep Gladiator can now be had at national drive-away prices, cutting around $20K from its two remaining trim grades.
In a move likely intended to combat a significant drop in sales figures and make room for the incoming MY24 update, Stellantis has announced massive price cuts for the two remaining variants in its Jeep Gladiator line-up: the Gladiator Night Eagle and Gladiator Rubicon.
For an undefined limited time, buyers can slide into a 2023 Gladiator Night Eagle from $64,000 drive-away, while the top-shelf 2023 Rubicon is available from $70,000 drive-away.
That pricing represents a saving of more than $14,000 for the Night Eagle, and more than $18,000 for the Rubicon. Those two are usually listed at around $78,000 and $87,000 before on-road costs, so these are some very significant price cuts.
Interestingly, these price cuts serve to bring the Gladiator a little closer to its original 2020 launch pricing, when the Rubicon was priced from $76K before on-road costs. There was also a cheaper $65,450 Sport S entry-level model for a short time in 2021, but it was soon dropped.
Year-to-date (end of June figures), Jeep has sold 169 Gladiators in Australia, compared to 467 for the same period in 2024 – marking a 75% drop in sales.
The Gladiator’s best year was 2022 when a total of 1397 found Australian homes, followed by 2021 with 1273 sales.

2024 Jeep Gladiator on the way
New looks, more tech and upgraded safety. Pricing still to be announced.
For buyers undeterred by higher prices, the incoming MY24 Gladiator gets tweaked exterior styling, new wheel designs, a bigger 12.3-inch display in place of the older 8.4-inch unit, and wired/wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto.
Top-spec models gain a 12-way power-adjustable driver’s seat.
Safety is also upgraded, with the existing front and front-side airbags joined by curtain airbags front and rear.
No changes have been announced for the Gladiator’s powertrain, leaving the 3.6 ‘Pentastar’ V6 the only engine on offer.
The 2024 Jeep Gladiator will reach Australia sometime in the second half of this year.
